David Sloan

David is the former CEO and Co-Founder of Naf Naf Grill and the Co-Founder of One Feeds Two USA and INVICTO. David is also Managing Partner and a Board Member of Blackwood BBQ. Under his leadership, David grew Naf Naf Grill from 1 to 38 restaurants in 7 years. David was ranked in Nation’s Restaurant News “Power 50” as one the leading restaurateurs in America and led the company to win Nation’s Restaurant News 2016 Hottest Concept Award. David has a passion for creating new concepts and introducing undiscovered food to America. David graduated from Austin Peay University and has his MBA from Loyola University Chicago.

Franklin Buchanan

Franklin Buchanan is the Co-Founder of INVICTO and One Feeds Two – USA. He is also Managing Partner and a Board Member of Blackwood BBQ. As the former COO of Naf Naf Grill he held accountability for profitability, infrastructure, and operational excellence. With expertise in strategy, branding, and operations he successfully grew the company from 3 – 38 locations across 7 states and from 25 employees to over 700. Franklin is a graduate of Tulane University and Vanderbilt University Law School.

Stephanie Simpson

Stephanie Simpson is one of the founding partners of Blackwood BBQ and a board member. Prior to Blackwood BBQ, Stephanie was the Head of Operations & Marketing for PerkSpot, a corporate perks/benefits company. Stephanie and her partners built two industry leading technology products within PerkSpot and ultimately created two companies within it – one that was sold to United Healthcare and the other that partnered with Susquehanna Growth Equity. Prior to that, Stephanie spent ten years at Kraft foods, running iconic brands, such as Kraft Jell-o and A-1. Stephanie has a BBA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
